Hardcover. quarto, bound in original brown half morocco in very good condition, sales sample book and technical reference on dyed samples using various dyes produced by this company. 419 pages of text and samples Covers and binding very good, contents also very good but there is offsetting from some of the sample to neighbor pages that varies from minor to heavy. There are 596 of 599 calico dyed samples of all sorts of colors and patterns. Samples general very good with only a few showing much reaction with the chemical dyes or paper. This book is from the Louis A. Olney Library at the Lowell Technological Institute where all manner of textile technology was taught. There are ink stamps or labels indicating this on the backstip, book top, bottom and fore edges, and a few places inside. A scarce reference for the history of textile technology. They company produced other such books for dyes to be used on other fabrics. Note: due to size and weight shipping outside the USA may cost more than an average book. Very good. Item #14101
