Hardcover. 8vo 4.75" x 8.5 ", folding sales sample book of dyed yarn samples- presumably, worsted wool, samples using various dyes produced by this company. samples - 8 per page. with total of 64 of blues, grays, browns plus one page with 12 samples of a much wider range of colors for total of 76- none lacking. Samples in good to very good condition. Covers and binding fair condition with front cover detached and with a tear, and back cover lacking about 1/4 of its size with some loss of text on the inside of the rear cover. Overall, a fair to good copy with good or better samples. This was, almost certainly, produced in Germany- printed date March, 1901 on cover. Text in Deutsch and English. Meister Lucius Bruning is the maker of the dyes- this book has the USA company Victor Koechl of New York printed in English and an ink stamp for H. A. Metz Co. of New York on the front cover.
