Hardcover. 8vo 5.25" x 9.25 ", incomplete folding sales sample book of dyed wool yarn using various dyes produced by this company. 30 samples - 6 per page - most samples in very good condition- a small number show some age deterioration. Original covers are lacking- here, there are 2 parts of a larger work- possibly from 2 different works by this company. One card set has 4 pages of dyed yarn samples in colors ranging from gray- blue, to browns to nearly black, with patterns numbered 25 - 48 and the second has patterns dyed in blues, gray and reds. numbered 49- 54. The text after samples 49- 54 refer to Alzarine Colors and the recipes for all the samples mention Alizarine. This was, almost certainly, produced in Germany- no date given- estimating ca. 1910. Text in Deutsch and English. Meister Lucius Bruning is the maker of the dyes. Fair - Good. Item #14493
