Hardcover. bound in half leather with marbled paper covered boards, rebacked in modern brown leather, boards heavily worn, some worm damage near spine and near foredge to first several pages and map of Hawaii, but without loss of text or map information, pages 26-27 darkened from insertion of some other paper long ago, pages 71-72 partly torn without loss of material, so additional worm damage at back of book without loss of text.. There are 7 plates, There are some pencil markings in the text. Overall, a much used copy of a scarce work. Good / No Jacket. Item #1464
