Hardcover. oblong 12mo, ca. 5" x 7" beautifully bound in very light brown cloth covered boards gilt and black decoration and lettering on front cover, covers fine, all edge gilt, contents fine wit 16 illustrated leaves on rectos only. Book has been given a custom made cloth dust jacket which is then housued in a custom made slipcase with red leather imitation spine. A little shelf wear on slipcase, but book is fine and case is near fine. Has elegant color bookplate of John Stuart Groves on front pastedown. pp. 16 First edition first issue with "mustang liniment" on 7th plate. Overall, fine copy and a scarce item in a near fine slipcase. Plates illustrate the uses of a cleanser "Sapolio" Text in English.
