Hardcover. folio , ca. 11.5" x 13.5" rebound dark brown half leather that matches dark brown pebbled cloth covered boards , binding now sound, and attractive. Contents very good, some age toning of paper, some soiling. There is a dampstain on top edge of book, but not much affect on pages. There is no index, but the book begins with title, 10 leaves printed on rectos only of text and one illustration, followed by 50 leaves of views printed on rectos only of areas around Springfield Massachusetts. very good in very good binding. Wonderful views of the county ca. 1892. No names or bookplates noted inside. Note that a similar works were produced by this publisher and otherswith words "Art Woks of..." in the title. Those were normally produced in parts and then sometimes bound together- the present book may have been made in parts or it may pre- date those other works. Collections of images like these were produced by several publishers around the same time with good quality images and documenting places and views that are often changed or non- existent now. Many of these sets are scarce. Shipping outside the USA should cost more an average book. Priority shipping may cost more as well. Very good. Item #17111
