South Florida Photographs (ca. 1945- 1965)

Original wraps. 38 b&w photographs, all ca. 8"x 10" some a little smaller, some may be a a bit larger, All are south Florida views, mainly Miami, Palm Beach Fort Lauderdale and environs. 4 are interior views of "Vizcaya" Most have a pencil or pen or note or a slip of paper taped on back identifying the places and who was the photographer. Names listed on the backs include Max Hunn, Jack Zehrt, Chris Hansen, H. W. Hannau, Ewing Galloway, Richard Hoit, J. F. Kirkton, A. J. Brant, Oren G. Fogle, Bernice Cameron, Don Wellenkamp, Don Knight, William Harmon, Jack Stark, A. Devaney, H. Armstrong Roberts. The papers taped on back are not archival and they do affect to photo paper to varying degrees a couple enough to affect the photo image on front. Do to this we will call the collection to be fair to good condition, but still an interesting collection of views. Most are from ca. 1960, but a couple give 1940's dates. The purpose of the markings is not clear, but it seems likely these were used by a gallery or photo image seller who supplied images to others. Note: due to size and weight shipping outside the USA should cost less than that of an average book. Good +. Item #17177
