Hardcover. 12mo, ca. 4.5" x 7.5" , 2 volumes, pp. 242, 228 for the 2 volumes, quarter bound in original purple cloth which is mostly faded to brown, with paper covered boards in good condition - moderate wear and soiling, paper spine lablels mostly present and readable, but some bits lacking. Contents age toned, but generally very good. Overall, good copy of this scarce work. There are two very nice bookplates of an earlier owner -one each on the front pastedowns showing what appears to be the NY skyline ca. 1925. This size book was, apparently, popular at the time because the book could be put in a coat pocket while traveling and publishing in 3 such volumes (as with the English edition) was popular as well. Shipping outside the USA may cost about that of an average book. Good. Item #17289
