A CRUISE IN THE ACORN

Nicely bound in original reddish brown cloth covered boards with gold and black embossed decoration on the covers and spine and color floral decoration on the front cover. Lightly worn covers with heavier wear at the corners and the top and bottom of the backstrip. There is a stain about two inches long and one-fourth of an inch wide on the back cover. The front joint is a little weak. The contents are near fine and include six mounted chromolithograph and gold greeting cards done by Kate Greenaway but unsigned and uncredited. One card is part of the frontis and has a small chip missing from the side with no loss of text or image. Former owner bookplate on the front pastedown. A scarce book with Greenaway illustrations in very good or better condition. Very Good / No Jacket. Item #2128
