London: Cassell and Company. Hardcover. six series uniformly bound in three volumes. Half bound in maroon calf with burgundy color morocco covered boards. Spines decorated with raised bands, impressed patterns and gilt. All edges are marbled. A very attractive set but there is light to moderate wear to the bindings. Each part has 40 color plates or 80 per volume and there are b&w illustrations as well of flowers. Each Part is around 160pp or 320 per volume. No date is given, but ca. 1910. There were two or three additional series published. This set is unusual because of the fine binding. Very Good / No Jacket. Item #2675
