Philadelphia: G. M. Hopkins, 1874. First Edition. quarter leather. large folio ca 15" x 18" , quarter bound in black leather with black paper covered boards. Leather deteriorated but covers still attached. X- Library with numbers on back strip, bookplate on front pastedown, pencil markings on back of title page, but no other obvious markings noted. Contents are one double page index map and 15 double page detailed maps and 3 single page detailed maps of the towns and county as it was at the time. Color on maps is good, but probably faded a bit from original. Paper age toned, but good. Overall, a scarce survivor with good binding and very good maps., but x- library. Note that this is vol 3 ONLY- the complete set had 7 volumes published between 1873- 1875 Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA or priority shipping will be more expensive than an average book.
