The front joint is detached from the text block, but covers are well attached to each other and back joint is firmly attached. Contents generally very good with beautiful b&w engravings surrounding all of the hand colored maps. Colors fairly bright, but each map is very striking- a beautifully produced work. Text in French. There is soiling around the edges of all the pages. This is moderately heavy at times but does not affect the image areas. There is some foxing on some palets near the bound edge. It has some affect on the image surrounding the map but not on the map itself There is no list of plates, but 100 were counted. Overall, contents are very good perhaps a bit better and exterior is fair to good . Note: due to size and weight shipping outside the USA or priority shipping will be more expensive than an average book. Good. Item #3469
