Hardcover. quarto, quarterbound in burgundy- black morocco with paper covered boards - x library copy with library markings on spine and inside, but in good condition. There is a paper label taped on the front cover giving the issue numbers that are inside. Not very attractive, but functional. This volume has issues 86- 89, for 1887- 1888. Each part with its own page numbers. Part 86 has 2 folding maps of the world on physical geography and is part I, part 87 has 3 maps and 2 topographical vies on 2 pages of the Australian Alps, part 88 has 1 folding map oKorfu with a couple other illustrations, and part 89 is continuation of part 86 and is thus Part II and has 1 relatively large and colorful folding plate with several small maps. The map plates are mostly folding and some may have closed tears and some may have been mis- folded. Maps are otherwise very good with detail and color for which this publisher is well known. Text is in German. Overall, good to very good copies with age toned paper and x - library.
