Hardcover. quarto, bound in original black pebbled cloth covered boards with blindstamped decoration and light wear and soiling, corners bumped, binding very good or better. This is the map volume ONLY. Contents generally very good, paper is age toned. Contents are only title page and one page description of the map which is in 6 folded parts. Map paper is heavier stock, but becoming brittle. Maps very good but with closed tears on some corners of folds and one coming in from an edge. Parts IV, V, VI appear not to have tears and were not opened. The maps can be handled, but tears likely to get worse. Overall, very good copy and uncommon. Two earlier owner bookplates noted on front pastedown. Due to the size and weight, overseas shipping may be less expensive than an average book. Very good. Item #3573
