Amsterdam: Blaeu family, 1640. Early Edition. unbound. folding map ca. 19.6" x 15", on paper a bit larger ca. 21.3 " x 18.5, folding to ca. 10.5" x 18.5", undated but ca. 1640, printed text on back side, paper is age toned, some dirt around the edges, map area generally bright with very good color, though dulled some by the paper aging, there is one closed tear on the right side which enters the map border. Overall, very good copy. For shipping, map will likely be rolled into tube or suitable box. Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA may be more expensive than an average book.
