Washington DC: United States Geological Survey, 1931. Early edition. Paperback. elephant folio, 2 maps of Providence and Fall River areas, each ca. 15" x 20" pp. The edges were cut off and these were taped together to make one larger map at one time- probably ca. 1942 as they were with other maps of that time and area of the country. There are some routes marked in pink color pencil- perhaps indicating planned routes to be used for some purpose. Further reseasch of those areas might be interesting. Overall, good copies, but with the old tape stains and having been rolled up for a long time. It will take time to flatten these. Note: due to size and weight shipping outside the USA or priority shipping will be more expensive than an average book. These will be shipped rolled up. There are shadows in images that are not on the paper. Good. Item #3763
