New York: John Lane Company, 1913. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Contents Near fine , with many illustrations, covers moderately worn and heavily age darkened . Former owner bookplate on front pastedown- ink inscription to that owner Mary Walter Cooper on front free endpaper. She appears to have been a supporter of art education for women in the first quarter of the past century. This copy is one of 550 published in limited edition in 1913 and is signed by the author as well as at the inscription to Cooper. There are also some newspaper clippings and another item on weaving laid in at the front. There is a handwritten note pasted on the front free endpaper that appears to be a note on a couple of tapestries in Mrs. Cooper's home. Good / No Jacket. Item #4013
