Vat Colors on Cotton (E 619)
Wilmington: E. I. Du Pont De Nemours & Company, 1946. Cloth. octavo bound in original dark green cloth covered boards with blindstamped lettering outlined in gilt on covers and back strip, inside are 28 pages of text about the dyes and processing, but, the bulk of the book is a set of 17 thick pages containing 386 spectacularly colored samples of cotton thread or yarn. The book has the number "E 619" in a couple places. This is probably the catalog number. There is a Dupont bookplate on the front pastedown with typed name on it- presumably the customer to whom this was shipped. Text is in English. No date is noted so we are estimating 1940's- may be earlier. Overall, very good or better copy with light soiling and wear and age toning. Very good +. Item #4150
