Basle: Ciba Company, 1938. Cloth. tall octavo bound in original gray cloth covered boards with white color lettering on covers and back strip, inside are 2 pages with more information about the dyes - repeated in German, French, English and Italian, but, the bulk of the book is a set of 22 pages containing 248 spectacularly colored samples of silk patches. The book has the number "1207" in a couple places. This is probably the catalog number. There is an ink stamp for Ciba Company on the front pastedown and on the title page endpaper and ink handwritten name on the front free endpaper with date 1939. No date is printed so we are estimating 1938. Overall, content near fine, with all samples present but one is folded, covers a bit warped and moderately soiled- about good. Very good. Item #4159
