Dyestuffs for Wool (300 D)
New York: Geigy Company, 1936. Cloth. octavo bound in original navy blue cloth covered boards with gilt color lettering on covers and back strip, inside is a booklet with more information about the dyes, but, the bulk of the book is a set of 39 pages containing ca. 300 spectacularly colored samples of wool patches. The book has the number "300 D" on ordering cards placed in a pocket at the front. This is probably the catalog number. There is an ink signature written on the front free endpaper. There is some soiling of some pages in the book- probably fingerprints from use, and a few of the samples have deteriorated over the years- as happens with some dyes and time and exposure. Covers lightly to moderately soiled and a bit warped. Overall, good to very good copy. Good +. Item #4161
