Hardcover. octavo, bound in half maroon cloth with marbled paper covered boards with moderate wear and small tears along hinges, contents generally very good with pp. 45 if text in German and 76 plates illustrating various weave patterns with the first plate having 5 actual textile samples. About 20% of one of those 5 samples is missing. Many of the sample patterns show color combinations that are possible. Much of the book block is loose from the rest and covers and A couple of leaves are loose from the rest of the text block, but without any missing. Early owner ink name on title page. Contents all present and in very good condition except for being detached. A scarce weaving and texttile sample book. Good. Item #4222
