Textile Sample Book Cotton Trim
n.p. textile manufacturer, 1940. First Edition. Hardcover. folio, bound with black rope through heavy card covers in blue cloth, ca. 88 pages full of sample of all sorts of trim and medallions manufactured to be added to textiles to make them unique. Book measures ca. 17" x 12" x 3.5" . Internal condition is generally very good, there are a few pages where samples are detached and a few where parts are missing- perhaps samples someone wanted- overall there are over 400 samples. No manufacturer or other names appear on the book. It seems likely it was either the manufacturers' catalog or one made in small numbers for distributors.
