Warp and Weft (1967- 1974 incomplete run 70 issues)
McMinnville: Robin & Russ Handweavers, 1967. First Edition. Original wraps. octavo, printed journal or newsletter with ads, tips, designs , each issue has a swatch of weaving taped inside - tape is deteriorated over time so some are loose, but present. Issued Sept.- June for each volume skipping July- Aug. , thus 10 issues per volume. This is a run of about 70 issues- continuous from Vol. XX #2 Feb. 1967 Vol. XXVII #8 1974, but lacking V21, #3, 1968, V22, #10, 1969, V23-24-25 1970-1971-1972 are complete, but a couple issues are misnumbered , V26 lacks #4,5,6,7 V27 lacks #4,#9, #10 . Thus the 1967-1969 have 9 of 10 issues, 1970-1972 have all 10, 1973 has 6 of 10, and 1974 has 7 of 10 issues. The issues are presently placed in 3 black ring binders, and issues have different numbers of holes punched, so they were probably placed by the owner in these. Each issue is a few pages. Completeness of each issue is not assured, but it seems unlikely that much is missing. As mentioned, there is a woven swatch in issues illustrating patterns , materials and techniques. There are some advertisements. Issues have some soiling, folds and other signs of some use, but not heavy use. Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA or priority shipping may cost more than an average book.The issues could be removed from binders to save weight and space. Good. Item #4362
