The first work is "Hand - Book for the Visiter (visitor) to Lowell ". The original wraps are not bound in. There is a map of Lowell and text of pp. 46. This is an early description of this industrial town. The second item is "Catalogue Des Tableaux de la Galerie Royale de Dresde" published in Dresden, no date given but assume ca. 1848, pp. 215 plus 16 for index, third is " A Description of the Collegiate Church and Choir of St. Mary, Warwick , and the Beauchamp Chapel" dated 1848, pp.40 with one plate. The 4th item is "The Daughter of the Regiment A Comic Opera in two acts the music by Donizetti the scenery by Mr. Charles Marshall as represented at Her Majesty's Theatre Haymarket 1851" , pp. 75, the 5th work is " The Stranger's Guide to Hampton Court Palace and Gardens" by John Grundy, published in 1850 in London by George Bell, pp. 76 with 3 plates. there is a pencil written note on the back of the plate of Henry VIII stating that Anthony Kimmel of Maryland visited Hampton Court in 1857 and he dined at Richmond Hall with dinner given by George Peabody to a large group of Americans. Pages are age tones and with some foxing, no wraps or other endpapers from the original booklets are bound in. Overall, a good collection of works.
