There are small gouges on the front cover and some stains. All edges are gilt. There is a mylar protector on the covers of the book. Contents age toned but generally very good to near fine. There are forty plates in the lis of plates with two images on one, two plates are folding and 11 are handcolored. Overall, a very good to near fine copy, but with faults noted. pp. xii, 414 plus leaf numbered 159* - 160* plus index. Very good +. Item #4629
