All edge gilt- a beautifully produced work. Contents good or better, but there is scattered foxing ranging to none on most pages to light on most others pages to heavy on a few. The numerous Color plates are generally not affected by the foxing- it is mainly on the backs of the plates or other pages, but there are a few plates with spots on the borders. There are 40 estates described in each volume and each has a color plate.The plates are chromolithographs and they show good color. The edition is not stated, nor is the publication date.
