Hardcover. small octavo size, folding book with 10 fine hand colored plates and text in Chinese and English on facing pages. Accordion folding book with a white cloth tape repair reattaching the front cover to the rest. The boards are actual wood. The front board has a crack, but it is held in place by the heavy paper attaching it to the rest of the book. The publisher and date are not given. It appears to be less than 100 years old. The English on the title page says that this festival is held on the 3rd of the 3rd lunar month in honor of the Goddess Hsi Wang- mu. Very good +. Item #5056
