Octavo, bound in original gilt decorated blue cloth covered boards with light to moderate wear, top edge gilt, foredge and bottom edge uncut, contents generally near fine except for black paint on front pastedown that apparently covers the name of an earlier owner in a sloppy way, ink date stamp from 1967 at top of front free endpaper, a few brown spots on the first few pages and the last few pages but very little in the bulk of the book. Lots of fine illustrations of photographic origin from this interesting place in cluding 10 high quality photogravures and 2 maps. Overall, very good or better copy. Very good. Item #5077
