Half morocco. small quarto, index vol. slightly smaller, all bound in half black morocco with marbled paper covered boards, moderate to heavy wear to covers and binding, cover firmly attached but worn, with scuffs wearing away the black color of the morocco and small tears to morrocco in a couple places, Index vol. dated 1884 (pp. 86) is probably intended to go with the first edition of this work as page numbers do not appear to match the other volumes, others 1896 (pp.396), 1898 (pp.438), 1903 (pp.602) are second or possibly later edition. It appears that another volume was published ca. 1907- it is NOT present here. Text is in Dutch, 3 maps at back of vol. 1 with no tears and a few brown spots and other light soiling, map at back of vol. 2 is similar but has some coloring, contents generally very good or better with occasional brown spots, sometimes a little heavier. Overall, very good but with index of questionable value. Note: due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA will be more expensive. Very good. Item #5086
