Hardcover. small quarto bound in black cloth covered boards, covers lightly worn and soiled, contents generally near fine. pp. 168 There is a black ink inscription signed and dated by the author in 1979 to her mother. Elizabeth B. Moynihan was spouse of Daniel P. Moynihan- former Senator and ambassador to India. In the preface of the book the author states that she became interested in these types of gardens when they moved to India in 1973. The dustjack is present and has moderate soiling and a few small tears- it is generally good. The dustjacket now has a mylar protector. Overall, a very good copy with great association.
