Tokyo: Asahi Shimbun, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. quarto, bound in original yellow cloth covered boards with light wear and moderate soiling. The contents are generally very good and are mainly photographic images but with a number of pages of adverts at the back. There is a dampstain at the lower right corner of the front cover and this is also seen in the same area on the papes, but it does not touch the images and remains within ca 1/4" (7mm) of the edge. An interesting collection of photos from this particular time and place. Text in English and French. but probably second or reprinted first. Overall, a good or better copy. Due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA or Priority shipping may cost more than an average book. Good. Item #5257
