Contents very good with age toning of paper and some foxing that is heavy on some pages, light to absent on most pages. All illustrations called for in lists at back of each volume are present- including portrait at front of vol. I and 2 plates in vol. 2. There is a small bookplate on the front pastedowns. pp. [6], [xiv], [2], 362, [2] and for vol. 2 ,[6], 478, [4 includes errata page] . Text in Deutsch.
