Hardcover. thick folios, 4 volumes beautifully bound in black leather covered boards with red paper dust jackets and in sturdy biege card slipcases. Slip cases and dust jackets show moderate shelf wear with some small tears to the jackets. The books and contents are fine while the jackets and slip cases are good to very good. Text is in Indonesian, Japanese and English. Each volume has 100 color plates of paintings tipped in on heavy card pages- quite an elaborately produced work. Most of the subjects of the works are Indonesian but many are not. A 5th volume was published with plates of statues as the content but this is not present here.
