Cambridge: Cambridge Tribune, 1896. First Edition. Hardcover. oblong quarto, bound in original dark green cloth covered boards. Covers very good except there is residue of glue from a price sticker at the upper right and there are 5 stamps dated 1941 with label "Crippled Children" stuck to front cover- two are stuck firmly while 3 are partially stuck. The might be removed with a little effort and care without significantly damaging the cover. The stamps are not postage stamps- they were probably given to people who made donations to the cause and ened up stuck to the book in humid weather. Contents are very good or better but with age toning of the paper. A fine collection of information about the notable people (men) of Cambridge, Mass. for the period mentioned in the title. There are many advertisements toward the back and views of some historical places. Binding good- with flaws noted and contents very good or better. Good. Item #7251
