Paris: Geofroi Nyon, 1709. First Edition thus. Hardcover. short 12mo or 16mo, rebound in quarter brown calf with light brown cloth covered boards in very good to near fine condition. Contents generally fair to good- the paper is age toned and there is some foxing, there are a few page with closed tears and some with frayed edges, but not loss of text. There are two parts and the first is dated 1709 and the second 1711 with publisher Jean Musier, Paris. The gathering that has the last few pages of the first part and first few pages of the second part is loose from the binding, but present. pp. [18], 281 for part 1 and, [2], 249, [10] . Overall , binding very good- except to loose pages at middle, contents fair to good. Text is in French by Richelet from Spanish of De La Vega who is believed to have been at least part native American- writing in the 17th century.
