Paperback. 4 items all ca. 1920 on becoming a detective, all have age toning and some uneven fading, paper a bit brittle with some chips of paper missing, but generally good and scarce survivors. fitst is by O'Sullivan - Lectures on Preparatory Scientific Detective Instruction - it is 12 pages of "elementary instruction" staple bound in red paper covers and folded. Related to this are 3 copies on yellow-orange paper of accaptance of membership in International detective exchange - for a fee- presumably one got such a certificate upon completing the "ectures" and paying. Third is brochure dated 1917 on "the Successful Detective" - 18 pages. 4th is single folded page on The American Detective School in New York dated 1922 congratulating a New Jersey resident on completing the course. Together, 4 detective training related items - covers fair, contents good or better. No bookplates or owner names other than those to whom these might be addressed.
