New York: Harpers, 1867. First Edition. Disbound. folio, 16 in. by 22 in. unfolded, 16 x11 folded. Hand colored lithograph of Boston sites, color good, from Harpers weekly. Paper is brittle from age, thus a scarce survivor . Was previously matted and framed - generally using good materials of the day to minimize deterioration of image, but old frame and matt in poor condition. images show old matt and litho removed from matt. Some chips missing from edge of lithograph, but not affecting image. A good candidate for for remounting. To minimize risks of shipping damage, this will be mailed rolled up in a tube. Overall in good condition, and a scarce work, but must be handled carefully due to age brittling of paper. Note: due to odd size , shipping outside the USA or prioroity shipping within the USA may be more expensive than an average book. Good. Item #7924
