Covers in good condition with a light stain at the upper right corner that barley affects pages inside the book- not encroaching on text. No. 24 of "Beadle's Frontier Series". Contents very good with age browned paper. The back cover lists 24 titles in press or available and this is no. 24. The back cover states that all titles will have 96 pages. The page numbering of this issue is a little odd. The last numbered page is 95 and this is the end of the story, however the first numbered page is 10 and it is the back side of the first page of text. Thus it appears that the adverts at the back were counted in the page numbering. In any case the book appears to be complete. Another oddity is there are small remnants of a color copy of the front cover at the front of the booklet, but indside the front cover. It might have been misbound, originally, or they might have updated the covers before shipping the booklet. Overall good to very good copy of this scarce survivor. Good +. Item #9594
