Linotype Faces (sample book)
Hartford: Case, Lockwood and Brainerd, 1955. Hardcover. octavo, rebound in blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering, with light - moderate wear, otherwise near fine. Contents near fine but with ink stamp of early owner on first 4 pages , pp. 47, 47, 47. Each group of 47 pages consists of the same text printed with different type style and size on one type of paper, then repeated on two other papers to illustrate how the printed results look. There is not much information in the book- it appears to have been rebound, so some information may have been lost when that was done. There is no date so 1955 is an estimate.
